The spicy Liers Vlaaike based on candy syrup and four spices has been around for more than 300 years. It is one of the oldest regional pastries of the province. There are six bakers-ambassadors affiliated with the Order van het Liers vlaaike. Click here to find the nearest one.

Boat ride; a 45-minute boat ride on the Nete waters offering you a different perspective on the hidden scenic locations for only €3,50.
Feeling more adventurous? Try to discover Lier on a paddle board!
Stand up paddle boarding is an attractive new way to experience a city. A SUP instructor will show you the ropes for an hour for €25 per person.
A bit closer to the showgrounds you will find a private spa called Di Lusso Spa.
Apart from the private spa, Di Lusso offers different kinds of massage and breakfast packages. It’s a 3-minute drive or 20-minute walk from the showground.
