One to watch: Eden Leprevost Blin Lebreton

We were amongst the lucky people who got to witness our sport being relaunched in Saint-Tropez. Many top riders have travelled to the French riviera to finally properly start their outdoor season. One of the riders that struck us the most was the young talented lady rider Eden Leprevost Blin Lebreton, the only 16-year old daughter of Penelope Leprevost. Looking very hard like her mother when she’s riding a horse (and yes, that’s a compliment), she jumped to the victory in the CSI2* 1m40 class yesterday.

Afterwards she said: “This victory for sure is one of the best wins in my career so dar. It’s a honor to be here and to do even better than my mom in this class site importante. I was secretly dreaming about beating her, but I didn’t think I would actually make it”, she laughed.

Penelope said: “If I had known I would be slower than Eden, I would have ridden even harder (laughs). No of course I’m very happy that she won. I know her and I knew she would do everything in her power to beat me. Everything worked out for her today and that makes me very happy. At first, I didn’t even want her to jump this height already but I guess she’s ready for it (laughs again)”.
